• The example was intended to show intransitive usage. Your edit made the sentence transitive, and therefore inappropriate as an example. --EncycloPetey 20:36, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
• There is a confusion. #1 is listed transitive, but it is intransitive. "while what we sell down stocks" makes no good sense: "we sell X down" and "X stocks". Anthony Appleyard 20:41, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
