The definition you added to syncratic ("Having a mix of theologies or ideologies") looks like a typo for syncretic ("Combining disparate elements in one system"). I've seen some blog type hits where people might be using syncratic (joint decision making) as distinct from ex cathedra rules, but that's a different sense if it exists. I've gone ahead and deleted the two entries with module errors- it would take longer for someone who knows Chinese to fix them than to create them from scratch. The fact that the {{rfd}} template was added with an argument for not deleting (it didn't make sense, so I could be wrong about the intent) really makes me wonder. Why don't you do me a favor and be more welcoming and motivated to improve? Rome wasn't built in a day nor was Beijjing, perhaps you should consider that this is a wiki with many contributing to improve it all together. I apologize if that's the impression you have. We have very strict regulations to ensure the dictionary is accurate and usable, and blatant errors are not tolerated. There's an expectation, also, that editors edit in languages they have some knowledge in, which you have not quite demonstrated. I just want you to think twice before making edits and make sure you use the "Show preview" button to at least see that there aren't module errors (bold words in red). Yes, this is a wiki, but, as they say at Wikipedia, some competence is required. I've been here for almost a decade and I've had a year of Mandarin at the university level as well as a degree in linguistics, but I don't edit Chinese entries except to fix obvious problems. Even based on the year of Beginning Mandarin I took way back in the '80s I could see that you had the wrong word for San Francisco, and I'm not Chinese at all. Plus, you had no clue what to do with the parameters and ended up with module errors.

Wiktionary is a reference work, so you shouldn't add anything that you don't absolutely know. As for the formatting: you should always click "Show preview" to make sure that you have everything right before you click "Publish changes" to save your edits.
