Greetings edit

I see you've made a lot of Wiki contributions over the past few years, particularly to Irish and Manx.

We recently passed a new rule on the English Wiktionary that says that words are considered attested (acceptable for inclusion) on the basis of only one actual use (not just a passing "mention"). That rule applies to the Gaelic languages, Norn and most other languages, just not to the really common languages like English and French. The rule does require the use of the {{LDL}} template or something similar. I hope that rule makes it easier to contribute!

I see that we have WT:About Irish and WT:About Scottish Gaelic pages, but not WT:About Manx or WT:About Cornish (or WT:About Norn).

As you might know, you can find contributors to your languages by following the Babel copy, basically Category:User_XX or XXX.

Please let me know if you need help with anything. I know a really good template maker, too :)

I hope you will continue to add contributions here, including Norn. And good luck with the Norn incubation project! --BB12 (talk) 21:00, 26 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

About Irish edit

I have recently expanded the page Wiktionary:About Irish. Please take a look, be bold in changing it, and make comments on the talk page. Thanks! —Angr 14:55, 31 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Moldova edit

Hi,

I come here search some help about a Galician word, if it's possible.

Do you know what's the Galician for Moldova? Must we prefer An Moldóiv or Moldóiv?

Thanks by advance for your answer. Cordially, Automatik (talk) 14:20, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure about Galician (a Romance language spoken in North West Spain), but the Irish Gaelic for Moldova is "An Mholdóiv". MacTire02 (talk) 15:35, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I meant the Irish Gaelic in effect. Thanks for your answer :) Automatik (talk) 19:38, 30 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
