pinkroot (usually uncountable, plural pinkroots)

A perennial North American herb (Spigelia marilandica), sometimes cultivated for its showy red blossoms.
An annual South American and West Indian plant (Spigelia anthelmia).
The root of Spigelia marilandica or Spigelia anthelmia, used as a powerful vermifuge.
