     Theo người dân địa phương, cây tơi là loại cây lá cọ, họ cau, gần giống như cây kè nhưng thân và lá to hơn, mọc rất nhiều ở các vùng núi thuộc huyện Nông Sơn.

     According to the locals, the tơi tree is a kind of palm trees, belonging to the Arecaceae family, looking almost similar to the kè (saribus rotundifolius) tree yet having larger trunks and leaves, growing copiously in Nông Sơn suburban district's mountainous regions.
