According to J̌ahukyan, of the same Proto-Indo-European origin as Old Armenian լկնիմ (lknim), լկտի (lkti).

  1. mediopassive of լկստել (lkstel)
  2. (intransitive, usually of children) to become spoilt, to get spoilt
    լկստված երեխաlkstvac erexaspoiled child, brat
  3. (intransitive) to become impudent
  4. (intransitive, colloquial) to get funny/naughty with each other (kiss, fondle, have casual sex, etc.)
