From اوتو (ütü, clothes iron, flatiron) +‎ ـلمك (-lemek, suffix forming infinitives from nouns or adjectives).

  1. (transitive) to iron, pass an iron over clothing in order to remove creases
  2. (transitive) to brown a dish using a cook's salamander
  3. (transitive) to burn the feathers or the hairs of an animal
