જુવાન
Gujarati
editEtymology
editInherited from Prakrit 𑀚𑀼𑀯𑀸𑀡 (juvāṇa), from Ashokan Prakrit *𑀬𑀼𑀯𑀸𑀦 (*yuvāna), ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *h₂yéwHō. Possibly a back-formation of Sanskrit युवानक (yuvānaka) or a semi-learned borrowing from Sanskrit युवन् (yúvan), with influence from युवानम् (yúvānam) or युवानः (yúvānaḥ). Doublet of જવાન (javān) and યુવાન (yuvān).
