Etymology

Pun on 苦幹／苦干 (fu² gon³, “hard work; to work hard”). Popularized through an interview with Karson Choi by East Week, entitled 成功需苦幹／成功需苦干 (“Success Needs Hard Work”), despite him being the son of the toy magnate Francis Choi.
