CamelCase (uncountable)
- (typography, often used in programming) The style of writing by concatenating multiple component words (i.e. writing without any space between them), while capitalizing the first letter of each word, starting with the first or the second word.
Usage notes
editCamelCase is often used as one of multiple conventions for names of variables in programming languages: compare "MyVariableName" (Pascal case, UpperCamelCase), "myvariablename" (lower case), "my_variable_name" (snake case), and "my-variable-name" (kebab case or dash case).
