Getier n (strong, genitive Getieres or Getiers, no plural)

  1. (collectively) beasts, animals
So war was announced to the bear, and all four-footed animals were called, ox, donkey, ox, stag, deer, and whatever else the earth bears. But the wren called everything that flies in the air; Not only the birds big and small, but also the mosquitoes, hornets, bees and flies had to come.
