In (Flemish) Dutch, the noun "dada" is currently also used to refer to an obsession, something one cannot stop talking about, similar to the noun "stokpaard" or "stokpaardje". — This unsigned comment was added by 84.198.246.199 (talk) at 22:08, 24 October 2009.

Seems to be Flemish: Het Vlaams woordenboek (sense 2); schrijvenonline.org; Agreed, not the best sources, but still mentions. Better one: Het Dialectenboek (page 193) Thadh (talk) 21:40, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Based on the sources I'm going to consider this passed as in clearly widespread use.
