According to standard Galician rules by the Royal Galician Academy this word is spelled "lapis" and not "lápis", also the plural is not "lápises", this word is unchanging in plural. — This unsigned comment was added by 213.177.196.26 (talk).

- @Ungoliant MMDCCLXIV Sorry, I didn't check the notifications. Yes, this person is right. In the dictionary of Royal Galician Academy "lapis" hasn't accent mark. Because in Galician the words stressed on the second-to-last syllable are not accented when they end in -n, -s and a vowel. And the words that end in -s do not vary in plural. So, I fix this mistake.
