Template:sets edit

Unlike Wikipedia, we don't use big, bulky templates. Especially as we have {{list}}. Mglovesfun (talk) 16:32, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Apologies, I used {{coefficients}} as inspiration --Gausie 16:49, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yiddish conjugation module edit

Thanks for stepping up to help with this! How good are you at this (or to ask another way, how much time are you willing to put into it)? The biggest thing is to document what you've added at Template:yi-conj/documentation. I find that I no longer know quite how to use the template, as I discovered at טענהן (taynen), where I couldn't get the translit to work. Secondarily, there are some other features that would be nice, like adding an alternate past participle (e.g. for פֿאַרלירן (farlirn)). Thanks! —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 01:10, 12 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm pretty good at it! Although the existing code is quite confusing, and it's not easy to make local tests before trying things out online. When I have the time I want to add some testcases so we can build this stuff in. But I'm learning as I'm going. Apologies if I have broken anything, though. --Gausie (talk) 11:47, 12 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hebrew pasúl edit

Re: פסול - if you are unfamiliar with Hebrew, it may be a better idea to double check before adding an entry; "pasúl" is a passive participle of the binyan kal (pa'al), not a passive verb in its own right. (There is no Hebrew binyan with the pattern pa'ul.) — Mnemosientje (t · c) 13:24, 12 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
