Thanks for the heads up! I'll need to form an opinion on that; I don't really know that much about the "eye dialect" label, just that it was used for similar things (and that all of the words I added appeared when finding examples of various forms of 'splosion where mostly in cases that seemed to be pronunciation spelling, though 'splosion itself isn't to my understanding) --Pokechu22 (talk) 01:38, 14 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Their is an error in your quote edit

If you're going to spam a 1,200-character lump of text to multiple entries, at least please get the spelling right... Chuck Entz (talk) 05:16, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads up. I've found and fixed 3 errors – I definitely should have proofread it (or copied the text from Google Books, though I usually avoid that due to OCR issues). As for the length, you seem to think it's too long; the source is in public domain and I felt different parts of the context were useful in different entries so I typed the full thing. Once I'd done that, I didn't really see a reason to trim out different parts, but if you see a need, feel free to remove some sentences. --Pokechu22 (talk) 07:21, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
