Etymology edit
Named after German geologist Kurt Endell who discovered the mineral with a team, + -ite.

- (mineralogy, dated) A monoclinic-domatic mineral containing aluminum, hydrogen, oxygen, and silicon. Discredited as the name of the mineral in 2006.
