Names of particular species of sharks are often compounds of this word, e.g. hacat cmaam (diamond stingray, literally female shark), hacat coospoj (leopard shark, literally painted shark), hacat coospoj caacoj (tiger shark, literally big painted shark), hacat cooxp (great white shark, literally white shark), etc.
