  1. (neologism) An unpleasant state of mental uneasiness, nervousness, apprehension, remorse, and/or obsessive concern about some uncertain event, which may be experienced during the day(s) following a bout of alcohol drinking. It however can also refer to one of the classic symptoms of alcohol’s rebound effect, which is a physiological mechanism, rather than a psychological regret.
