Etymology edit

From French imprimerie, from imprimer (to print, to imprint) + -erie (-ery), from im- (in-) + primer (to print). Equivalent to imprint +‎ -ery.

    France's National Imprimery dates back to the Renaissance but now mostly prints ID cards.
