Particularly: “According to le Wiktionnaire, this verb derives from Proto-Slavic *terbiti (rendering it cognate with Polish trzebić, Russian тереби́ть (terebítʹ), and Serbo-Croatian тре́бити (trébiti)) and thence from Proto-Indo-European *terh₁- (rendering it cognate with Ancient Greek τρῑ́βω (trī́bō) and Czech třít). It would be good to know the Old Czech etymon intermediate between this word and its Proto-Slavic root.”
