Usage notes

  • As a second-class pronoun, yané is used as the subject of a sentence when its verb is a second-class one (those verbs are sometimes referred to as adjectives). The personal pronoun yané is also used when governed by any postposition with the exception of arama and supé. Finally, yané is used as a possessive pronoun as well.
