Borrowed from Japanese M(エム)t( ティー)X( エックス) (emu tī ekkusu), which is a wasei eigo (和製英語; pseudo-anglicism), from English male + to + X.[1] Similar to English MtF and FtM. “X” here represents X-gender (Xジェンダー).
