Rebracketing of το (to), equalling[1] Aramaic אַגָּנָא / אַגָּאנָא / ܐܓܢܐ (ʾaggānā), Hebrew אַגָּן (ʾaggā́n), Ugaritic 𐎀𐎂𐎐 (ảgn), Akkadian 𒌓𒅗𒁇 (UD.KA.BAR /⁠agannum⁠/), from the Semitic generic terms for a bowl, or acquired from a third source, as also Egyptian jkn (bowl), which however is also a candidate for borrowing.
