  2. to ride, to drive
    пое́хать за го́род
    pojéxatʹ za górod
    to go to the suburbs of a city by driving (suburbs are described as something "behind" a city)
  3. to travel
    Я пое́ду на по́чту.
    Ja pojédu na póčtu.
    I'm going to go to the post office. (concrete)

Usage notes edit

Поехать and е́хать are concrete verbs. Their counterpart, е́здить, is an abstract verb.
