- someone that has not seen or something that has not been seen
- (dialectal) ignorant, not having seen much of the world
- (dialectal) someone who takes interest in every foolish thing
- (derogatory) greedy, grasping, eager, insatiable, specifically of someone who quickly rose from poverty to wealth and is now arrogant about it in an unseemly way; an upstart
- Synonym: (dialectal) գյորմամիշ (gyormamiš)
