Etymology edit

An old compound where the first element goes back to Proto-Georgian-Zan *c₁ic₁- (small insect, moth) (akin to Mingrelian ჩიჩი (čiči), ჩინჩი (činči) and Laz ჩიჩი (çiçi)), while the second part reflects Georgian ნათელი (nateli, light).
