(かん)()()(てん) (kanwajiten) usually contain Classical or Literary Chinese written forms with pronunciations (or “readings”) in Japanese. Dictionaries of modern Chinese with pronunciations in Mandarin are usually called (ちゅう)(にち)()(しょ) (chūnichi jisho) or (ちゅう)(にち)()(てん) (chūnichi jiten) instead.
