editFrom Middle Korean 오명〮 가명〮 (Yale: wòmyéng kàmyéng), using the emphatic verb-final particle ㅇ (Yale: -ng) after the connective forms of 오다〮 (Yale: wòtá, “to come”) and 가다〮 (Yale: kàtá, “to go”). This is the only construction in which the particle in question survived into Early Modern Korean.

- Jinju Namgang makda haedo omyeonggamyeong sinsaebyeog-ina bambich-e boneun geos-eul, ur-eommae-ui ma'eum-eun eotteohaesseulkko.
- Even though the Nam River in Jinju is pure, she could only have seen it at the break of dawn or by the light of night, while rushing back and forth; I wonder what my mother felt at those times.
