Usage notesEdit

The suffix -ibilis is a variant of -bilis, usually added to second, third, and fourth conjugation verbs to form an adjective denoting passive qualities.

Examples:
horreō (I stand on end, move shakily) + ‎-ibilis → ‎horribilis (horrible, dreadful)
rīdeō (I laugh) + ‎-ibilis → ‎rīsibilis (laughable)
