What ever happed to "chink a small cleft, slit, or fissure <a chink in the fence>? Shouldn't this more common usage also be included?

- I can't see how it's not an alteration of Chinese. The existence of the word chink may have had an influence on the form of the alteration, but I don't see why it would be from "narrow opening". (And even then, it was influenced by Chinese.)--Prosfilaes (talk) 20:56, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
