Hey, I like the Powerpuff Girls as much as the next guy, but until we can see some outside attribution of the interjection sense, it's a nonce and shouldn't be here (yet). -dmh 22:45, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

When?

edit

I'm worrying when this word started to get the meaning of being naked? Apparently birthday suit isn't literally mean naked. When I first heard of it, I understood it as the suit people wear when they come to the birthday party.184.97.130.145 02:22, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I think the meaning is pretty literal. It is the outfit that you wore on the day you were born. And everyone is born naked. —CodeCat 02:42, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Except me. I was born with a tie and a classy tux. But I guess the rest of you are mere nudeborn mortals. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 04:30, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
I don't even want to think of the dry-cleaning bills from that... Chuck Entz (talk) 05:10, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
