Welcome!

Hello, welcome to Wiktionary, and thank you for your contributions so far, we really need someone to help with Northern Sami. I'd like to note that on Wiktionary we have a very strict format for entries, which is explained in detail at WT:ELE. The entries you added in Northern Sami don't quite follow that format, because they don't have what's called a 'headword line'. It would look like this and it's placed right below the ===Noun=== header, before the definition:

{{head|se|noun}}

I've added it to the entry gobmi that you created, so that you can see: https://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=gobmi&diff=18257563&oldid=18257475 Could you please do the same for the other entries you've already created? If you need a list of all the contributions you made so far (so you can find the ones you need to fix), you can go to Special:Contributions/Guovssahas.

Here are some more good links for newcomers:

  • How to edit a page is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.
  • Our Criteria for inclusion (CFI) define exactly which words Wiktionary is interested in including. There is also a list of things that Wiktionary is not for a higher level overview.
  • If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide to Wikipedia users useful.
  • The FAQ aims to answer most of your remaining questions, and there are several help pages that you can browse for more information.
  • We have discussion rooms in which you can ask any question about Wiktionary or its entries, a glossary of our technical jargon, and some hints for dealing with the more common communication issues.

Also, please add a BabelBox to your userpage so other editors know what languages you'll be working in, and can help you out maybe or ask questions about them.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! If you have any questions, bring them to the Wiktionary:Information desk, or ask me on my talk page. If you do so, please sign your posts with four tildes: ~~~~ which automatically produces your username and the current date and time.

Salve amice! edit

'BabelBox' tuus te optimum ut orator latine esse inquit, et mihi magis editores qui hanc linguam loqui possunt habere gratissimus est. Scientiam minorem linguae 'Sami' habeo, sed eam unam esse ubi verba declinare et conjugare credo. Formulas inflectionum verborum quae similes eis pro lingua Latina erunt aedificabo si me de inflectionibus a primo ad ultimum, in tabula recta explicas.
