Inherited from Ottoman Turkish اولور اولمز or اولور اولماز (olur olmaz),[1] from compound of olur ((it)happens; possible, doable) (3rd person singular simple present positive) +‎ olmaz ((it) doesn't happen; not possible, not doable) (3rd person singular simple present negative).
