In modern usage, has the irregular imperative تَعَالَ (taʿāla) based on the verb تَعَالَى (taʿālā, to rise, to ascend); feminine تَعَالَيْ (taʿālay), plural تَعَالَوْا (taʿālaw). (Informally, pronounced تَعَالْ (taʿāl), feminine تَعَالِي (taʿālī), plural تَعَالُوا (taʿālū).)
