Compound of 質問 (shitsumon, “question”) +‎ 攻め (seme, “the 連用形(れんようけい) (ren'yōkei, “stem or continuative form”) of the verb 攻(せ)める (semeru, “to attack”)”). The seme changes to zeme as an instance of rendaku (連濁).
