Talk:goodnight

A bit odd that this is given only as a noun and no interjection, isn't it? However, the main form good night is a "phrase"... Equinox ◑ 22:18, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- In the single citation in this entry it is a noun.
- I have just added a definition of interjection to Appendix:Glossary#I. That definition seems to conform to the rather inclusive way we tend to use the term. By that definition good night is an interjection of the greeting/salutation/farewell variety. I don't know whether authors use the goodnight spelling for the farewell.
