I'm Davi /daˈvi/, and my pronouns are masculine (e.g. he and him). I'm an Evangelical Brazilian student who loves linguistics, has been learning English, and plans to learn Toki Pona and Spanish in the future.

I aim to improve Wiktionary in general, especially by adding missing senses or attested terms in English or Portuguese and creating an appendix for Plants vs. Zombies terms soon. And, recently, upon User:AG202's suggestion on Discord of displaying articles in Portuguese country entries, I and User:JnpoJuwan began researching how Portuguese speakers use articles when mentioning sovereign states (a.k.a. de facto countries).

English

edit

I've been learning English since 2020, so I know a lot of grammar and vocabulary and can send messages, write texts, and generally get what other speakers say. Tho my pronunciation is bad and I'm looking forward to perfect it, my accent is supposed to be near General American but non-rhotic, with flapping, and the comma-strut and palm-lot-thought mergers.

Portuguese

edit

My mother tongue is Portuguese, with the Carioca accent and frequent nasalisation due to my mother's Northeastern influence.

Spanish

edit

I only understand most of what Spanish speakers say and basic vocabulary but don't really speak the language.
