• How to edit a page is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.
• Entry layout explained (ELE) is a detailed policy documenting how Wiktionary pages should be formatted. All entries should conform to this standard, the easiest way to do this is to copy exactly an existing page for a similar word.
• Our Criteria for inclusion (CFI) define exactly which words Wiktionary is interested in including. There is also a list of things that Wiktionary is not for a higher level overview.
• The FAQ aims to answer most of your remaining questions, and there are several help pages that you can browse for more information.

Translation requests

Hello there Ikatz. Since you seem to know Basque fairly well, I would like to ask if you would be willing to go through Category:Translation requests (Basque) and possibly take care of some of the entries that are requesting Basque translations? Aditza gaztelania "ser"

I am learning Euskara and Castillian, and I was wondering about a question concerning the Castillian verb "ser". Its conjugation for the present tense & indicative mood is:

   soy
   eres
   es
   somos
   sois
   son

I know that es comes from Latin est. Do you have any insight to why Latin es would become Castillian eres?

kv/ko/av?

Hi Ikatz! I'm just working on making documentation pages for your Basque declension tables, and I wanted to know what the kv, ko and av parameters specifically do to make it obvious. That way I could clarify how to properly use the templates for other users. Skahmed23 (talk) 19:10, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
