Welcome edit

Welcome edit

Hello, welcome to Wiktionary, and thank you for your contributions so far.

If you are unfamiliar with wiki-editing, take a look at Help:How to edit a page. It is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.

These links may help you familiarize yourself with Wiktionary:

  • Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.
  • Check out Language considerations to find out more about how to edit for a particular language.
  • Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
  • If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
  • If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.
  • Whenever commenting on any discussion page, please sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~) which automatically produces your username and timestamp.
  • You are encouraged to add a BabelBox to your userpage to indicate your self-assessed knowledge of languages.

Enjoy your stay at Wiktionary! Redboywild (talk) 15:19, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Contributions edit

Hi Kwunlam! Thank you for adding Romanian terms and I encourage you to keep up the good work. However, please try to incorporate an appropriate article structure in your articles and also follow Wiktionary's style guide (WT:STYLE). I'm going to correct some of your latest contributions, so I urge you to please take a gander at what I did and why I did it, and please go through your contributions. Best Regards, --Robbie SWE (talk) 19:12, 17 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your message. I have the intention to try my best to follow, and I will certainly learn from your corrections, won't repeat it for sure. -- Kwunlam. 22:00 17. December 2016

I have already fixed the tag errors and the Header errors. If I still have missed something, please feel free to let me know.

At this stage, I am still a learner of this language. So there are a number of cases where I could not venture into giving the correct noun-declension or verb-conjugation tag. For this, I could only beg for understanding. -- Kwunlam. 23:25 17. December 2016

Hi Kwunlam! Thank you for your understanding! Your corrections are appreciated and I'm going to keep an eye on your contributions to make sure they are up to par. I'm certain you'll become an expert in no time at all :-) Feel free to ask for help if you ever need it. We're a couple of Romanian-speaking contributors around here (besides myself, Redboywild and Word dewd544 are my go-to guys), so you always have someone who can lend a helping hand. Keep up the good work! --Robbie SWE (talk) 14:37, 18 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

автозапчасти edit

Hello,

Re: this revision

Please note that your entry has a wrong declension type in the header and the missing accent produced a wrong pronunciation. Sorry, I don't encourage you to make Russian entries if you're not familiar with the Russian grammar and phonology. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 12:50, 6 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for the mistakes. I will be more careful next time, or I would not make entries. Kwunlam 6. January 2017

Empty descendants sections edit

Please don't add empty descendants sections like at त्रयोविंशति (trayoviṃśati). Thanks. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 00:47, 30 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Indonesian entries edit

Please note: 1. Some entries mistranslated. (Probably translated from Google Translate) 2. Entries between 18–25 June missing the header.

Thanks for enriched Indonesian lemmas. But, I don't encourage you to make Indonesia entries if you're not familiar with the translations.
