These links may help you familiarize yourself with Wiktionary:
- Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.
- Check out Language considerations to find out more about how to edit for a particular language.
- Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
- If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
- If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Whenever commenting on any discussion page, please sign your posts with four tildes (
~~~~) which automatically produces your username and timestamp. - You are encouraged to add a BabelBox to your userpage to indicate your self-assessed knowledge of languages.

السلام عليكم
editوشكرا جزيلا لشراكك فالقاموس بحاجة إلى أعضاء ناطقين بالعربية! ولكن هناك مشكلة بسيطة أن بعض مساهماتك لحد الآن لم تمتثل توجيهيات الويكتيوناري التي تخص تنسيق التعاريف، فأرجو أن تلتزم بها كي نجعل القاموس مرتبا ومتسقا. منها:
- عناوين الصفحات نكتبها بلا تشكيل
- نسبق التعريفات لكل "نوع" من الكلمة بقالب يشبه
{{ar-something|...}}مثلا الاسم نسبقه ب{{ar-noun}}والصفة نسبقها ب{{ar-adj}}مع أن طريقة استخدام هذه القوالب معقدة قليلا - نستخدم القالبين
{{link}}و{{mention}}لوضع رابط إلى كلمة أخرى فالأولى نستخدمها في الـ "Related terms" والـ "Synonyms" والثانية في بقية الصفحة - عندما نستخدم كل هذه القوالب نحرّك الكلمة العربية بالكامل... ما عدا الإعراب آخر الكلمة. وأيضا نهمل كتابة السكون فوق حروف العلة الساكنة فلاحظ الفرق الفرق بين الأسلوبين رُوح (rūḥ) و رُوْح (ruwḥ) ؛ الأولى هي المفضلة
- إذا عددنا قائمة، مثلا لكلمات ذات صلة، ينبغي أن القائمة تكون بلا أرقام لأن الترقيم يوحي بأن أول أعضاء القائمة لها أولوية. فلإخفاء الترقيم نبدأ كل عضو برمز * ولا بالـ #
وأخيرا أسألك أن تنتبه للرتبة التي يأثر بها عدد الرموز مثل = # * فلها نظام تفسره صفحة WT:Entry layout أي منهاج تنسيق الصفحات. وأتمنى أن تبقى معنا وأن تداوم بالمساهمة :)

editشكراً على النصح، أنا أحاول جاهداً الالتزام بالمعايير ولكن هذا الالتزام يحتاج لبعض الممارسة من أجل أن أتقن تنسيق الصفحات دون الوقوع في أخطاء Mohalha (talk) 15:38, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- لا عليك! ما يساعدني شخصيا هو أن أبحث عن صفحة تقرب ما سأضيفه كي أنقلها مباشرة وفقط أغير الذي يجب تغييره، ومَن تدرّب كذلك يحرر ببداهة مع الوقت M. I. Wright (talk) 19:57, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
You've created another page without a headword template. Please familiarize yourself with Wiktionary formatting at WT:ELE before creating more entries. Also, I'm confused about why you're creating pages in Norwegian (language code no) with etymologies from Norwegian Bokmål (nb). If the pages are in Bokmål, use the header ==Norwegian Bokmål== and the headword template {{head|nb|noun}} or the templates at Category:Norwegian Bokmål headword-line templates. - You also created كمش without a verb template. Please don't make any new pages until you learn the formatting. I suggest looking at the code of good entries. Here's an example of a good Arabic verb page: رتب. Ultimateria (talk) 07:14, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
