• Our Criteria for inclusion (CFI) define exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary, though it may be a bit technical and longwinded. The most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
• The FAQ aims to answer most of your remaining questions, and there are several help pages that you can browse for more information.

ἀγγελθήσοιατο

Where did you find this word? It looks theoretically correct, but has an accent farther back than the antepenult, which Module:grc-accent complains about. I can add an exception if there's a source for it. — Eru·tuon 01:02, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

Oh, duh. (Why didn't I look there?) Okay, so it's an error in Module:grc-conj, which generates the table. It should be accented ἀγγελθησοίατο (angelthēsoíato). I'll see if I can fix that. — Eru·tuon 01:12, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

Okay, the same error is popping up at ἀγγείλωμαιμι and ἀγγείληταισι. You shouldn't save the page when there's an error message, because it means Module:grc-conj is generating an incorrect form. On the other hand, it points to what I need to correct. — Eru·tuon 03:50, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Ancient Greek inflections

We have a script called WT:ACCEL that lets you automatically create these, once it's set up to handle Ancient Greek. It's probably easier than doing it all manually. —Rua (mew) 23:14, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Participles

In entries for participles like ἀγρόμενος (agrómenos) and ἀγρομένη (agroménē), make sure to use the Participle header and use the {{grc-part-1&2}} or {{grc-part-1&3}} templates for the masculine nominative singular and {{grc-participle form}} for the other forms. The templates place the entries in Ancient Greek participles and Ancient Greek participle forms rather than Ancient Greek verb forms. Unfortunately existing entries may not be consistent. — Eru·tuon 18:30, 10 September 2018 (UTC)

You mean a module error in {{grc-part-1&2}} or {{grc-part-1&3}}? Look at the template documentation. You might be forgetting the feminine and neuter forms, which you can enter using {{chars}}. If the stem has a long or short alpha, iota, or upsilon, you should also add that. — Eru·tuon 18:11, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

Oops, I realize there isn't documentation for the participle templates. {{grc-adj-1&2}} and {{grc-adj-1&3}} use the same parameters as the participle templates (except they add |deg=, which isn't relevant to participles), so you can look there for more information. — Eru·tuon 18:29, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
