Voting on: Removing a few words from WT:EL#Anagrams and other trivia:

Other sections with other trivia and observations may be added, either under the heading “Trivia” or some other suitably explanatory heading.

The final result should be:

Other observations may be added, under the heading “Trivia”.

  • Disencouraging the creation of new, undiscussed trivia headings. Suppose someone wants to add in the entry: "'Foo' is the only word in the language X that has 'oo' in it." Regardless of the merits of that information, arguably it should be kept in the "Trivia" section, not in a new section called "Vowel count", "Orthographical properties" or any other name.
  • Minor edit: Shortening the text. Using less words to say "Other sections with other trivia and observations".

  3.   Support I don't think we should be permitting arbitrary headings in general. Could complicate any future transition to a more semantic/database-type format. Equinox 02:49, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
  4.   Support. Ultimately I'd even get rid of the Trivia sections. - -sche (discuss) 03:20, 19 February 2016 (UTC)

  1.   Oppose "Other observations" is too vague. This, that and the other (talk) 01:16, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
What do you think would be an improvement? -Xbony2 (talk) 17:42, 14 March 2016 (UTC)

    • Edited WT:EL accordingly. Also, if no one minds, I've split the "Anagrams and other trivia" section into "Anagrams" and "Trivia" sections. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 00:05, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
