Etymology edit

Borrowed from Greek σουτζούκι (soutzoúki), from Turkish sucuk (see also: Georgian ჩურჩხელა (čurčxela, churchkhela)). Doublet of sujuk.

  2. A jelly prepared from wine must, which has been enriched with walnuts and formed into a roll from Greece.
