Usage notes

edit
  • When a suffix pronoun is attached to the plural form, the final ن is dropped.
  • While the original meaning of إيد (ʔīd) is “hand”, its usage is extended to the whole arm. When a distinction between “hand” and “arm” is necessary, the formal term ذراع (ḏrāʕ, arm) borrowed from MSA can be used.
