The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).
It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

- Being commonly used doesn't make it an idiom. How does it not mean sexual + attraction? —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 21:21, 17 July 2016 (UTC)

- (edit conflict) Commonly used, but not an idiom. The phrase "said to his friend" gets 248,000 raw Google hits, but no one in their right mind would have an entry for it. The number of possible phrases in English is astronomical- we should only have entries for ones that can't be covered by the entries for their parts. Chuck Entz (talk) 21:28, 17 July 2016 (UTC)

- I do not see an article in Wikipedia for: "said to his friend". Sometimes, we have to apply common sense for idioms. IQ125 (talk) 13:08, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- But there is a Wikipedia article for w:List of Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Wiktionary is a dictionary, so we only deal with the lexical aspects of terms, not with the subject matter they refer to. Chuck Entz (talk) 13:31, 20 July 2016 (UTC)

- While very common, I can't actually think of a reason to keep this. As pointed out, so's green grass. Renard Migrant (talk) 16:07, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
