It makes no sense to mark the etymology as unknown, and then at the same time provide an etymology. It should be one or the other. In any case, the etymology was marked as unknown for a reason, so I'm not sure the one you provided was actually correct. I marked the etymology of this word as uncertain because I initially thought so. But meanwhile I discovered an etymology for this word from a very credible source ("Dicționar Explicativ al Limbii Române", Arc, Gunivas, 2007), and therefore deleted "uncertain" and wrote "Derived from scoate ("to pull out")" instead. Ok, but then you should have removed the {{unknown}} template and put the new etymology in its place, instead of marking it as unknown and then writing the known etymology, which made no sense. —Rua (mew) 15:43, 6 April 2019 (UTC)

It's fine, the entry is all correct now I think. My advice is to pay attention to the way entries are written in wikicode, not just how they look on the surface. Wiktionary tends to be rather particular about the code, such as how to make links to other pages. If you take an existing entry, then edit it and copy the code, and then use that code as a base for a new entry, it will probably come out ok.
