Usage notes edit

  • The forms вчи́ти (včýty) (used after vowels) and учи́ти (učýty) (used after consonants or at the beginning of a clause) differ in pronunciation but are considered variants of the same word.
  • In the sense of teaching, the noun should be in the genitive case.
