From Sanskrit प्रजापति (prajāpati, literally chief of mankind; chief of creation), from प्रजा (prajā, mankind, people; creation, procreation) + पति (pati, chief; lord; master); equivalent to Thai ประชา (bprà-chaa) +‎ บดี (bɔɔ-dii).
