Hello, welcome to Wiktionary, and thank you for your contribution so far. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

• How to edit a page is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.
• Entry layout explained (ELE) is a detailed policy documenting how Wiktionary pages should be formatted. All entries should conform to this standard, the easiest way to do this is to copy exactly an existing page for a similar word.
• Our Criteria for inclusion (CFI) define exactly which words Wiktionary is interested in including. There is also a list of things that Wiktionary is not for a higher level overview.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide to Wikipedia users useful.
• The FAQ aims to answer most of your remaining questions, and there are several help pages that you can browse for more information.
• We have discussion rooms in which you can ask any question about Wiktionary or its entries, a glossary of our technical jargon, and some hints for dealing with the more common communication issues.

Ah, I didn't see that when I was reading the getting started articles. This is my first time at Wiktionary, I came from Wikipedia. Anyway, it has no citations so I moved it to 'requests for verification'. Thanks! -- AnonymousDDoS (talk) 17:04, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

Please, try citing things yourself, or make a list somewhere and maybe I or other users can work on it if you don't want to (you can make subpages of your user page like "User:<name>/Citation needed". Yeah, it's just that RFV is really only for cases where terms really seem to not exist or have very little visible evidence of usage,online, in books, etc. 50 Xylophone Players talk 19:10, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

(deprecated template usage) stimulus package

Hey, just a friendly tip, for English nouns and such you use {{en-noun}} not {{en|noun}}. {{en-noun}}, {{en-adj}}, etc are the actual English POS templates for entries. {{en}} is just the actual language code template for English, which I imagine is transcluded by many templates. 50 Xylophone Players talk 13:48, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

Don't forget that every entry must start with a ==language== header. Part of speech is at level 3, not level 2. You probably meant to use (deprecated template usage) context rather than (deprecated template usage) sense. Cheers SemperBlotto (talk) 16:53, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
