In Southwestern Tai, cognate with Northern Thai ᨶᩧ᩠᩵ᨦ, Lao ໜຶ່ງ (nưng) or ນຶ່ງ (nưng), ᦓᦹᧂᧈ (nueng¹), Shan ၼိုင်ႈ (nūeng), Aiton လိုင် (lüṅ), Ahom 𑜎𑜢𑜤𑜂𑜫 (lüṅ).

In other Tai, cognate with Zuojiang Zhuang nwengq (Ningming dialect)[2] or nwengh (Longzhou and Daxin dialects)[2] or nwngh (Longzhou and Daxin dialect)[2] or nwng (Longzhou dialect).[2]
